What’s happening in the local community? How can I get involved?
We’re not just here for Sunday’s. We have many midweek events that are for the local community in and around Hondón de los Frailes.
A group for everyone
Craft Club
Feeling creative? Like arts and crafts? We have a varied selection of activities that you’re going to love. Try your hand at Card making, Jewellery and Painting. Bring a friend and take home a masterpiece!
Line Dancing
Fancy learning some new steps while making friends and keeping fit? Join Katy and Rocky as they lead beginners and experienced ‘side steppers’. Don’t have an achy break heart, come and have fun.
Bridge Club
Having a leisurely game of cards is one of life’s finest pleasures. Don’t worry if you’ve never played before, we can teach you. We also have other games such as Chess if you prefer?
Women of Destiny Ladies Group
This informal meeting normally includes an afternoon of relaxed conversation, support and fellowship. You can learn how you can help within your community whilst enjoying and afternoon tea in the beautiful Hondon Valley.
Men of Purpose
Meeting once a month with the opportunity to build new friendships with others and with God. We will find out our purpose and vision for the next stage of our lives.
We can discover how to become Godly leaders, in our homes, our workplaces, our churches and communities.
The Big Breakfast
Held in various restaurants around the Costa Blanca you can hear testimonies and music from inspiring speakers and musicians while enjoying a full English Breakfast.
Christmas Carols under the stars
Our Carol Concert is a joyous occasion. Held outside The Dream Centre as the sun goes down it is a beautiful witness to our community. We are proud to make it known that Jesus is the reason for the season! We even march along the High Street with our candles handing out sweets and sharing the love of Jesus.
We have live music to sing along to, food and drink to enjoy and fellowship as we celebrate the ‘Good News’ that God sent his Son Jesus to save us and change our lives forever.
